Itinerary

  • Arrival in Marrakech, pick-up at the airport with a sign from our agency Unique Morocco Experience, and transfer to your riad.
  • Free time, accommodation, and overnight stay at the riad.
  • After the breakfast, free day to explore the city: Menara Gardens, Koutoubia Minaret, Saadian Tombs featuring the central Carrara marble dome, and Bahia Palace. Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.
  • In the morning, vendors sell fruits, wicker baskets, sweets, etc.
  • In the afternoon, the square becomes fascinating as it lights up with a thousand lights, creating a magical atmosphere.
  • Overnight at the riad in Marrakech.
  • Pick-up at your accommodation and departure towards Ouarzazate.
  • We will cross the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the Tizi n’Tichka pass and numerous Berber villages.
  • We will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, famous for its movies and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
  • We will venture into the palm grove of the Draa Valley, the largest in Africa, with kasbahs, villages, and orchards.
  • We will take a track that leads us into the heart of the palm grove, arriving in Zagora, a historical endpoint of the caravans from Timbuktu.
  • Before sunset, we will head to the Berber tent camp, where we will have a welcome tea and witness an unforgettable sunset.
  • Dinner will be by the campfire, and we will rest under a blanket of stars.
  • Overnight stay in the Berber tent camp.
  • After the breakfast, we will depart for Tamegroute to visit the potters and wood-fired kilns where the famous green pottery is made. We will observe women hand-shaping pottery and men using the foot-operated pottery wheel. Artisans work on the street, blending colors with green being the most prominent, creating a wide variety of pieces.
  • Next, we continue to Taroudant, a fortified city in the fertile Souss Valley, between Agadir and Ouarzazate. Known as the “little Marrakech,” it was the origin of the Saadian dynasty and the first city in Morocco to have a printing press. Influenced by the ancient Jewish community.
  • Overnight at the accommodation.
  • After the breakfast, we will depart for the Atlantic coast, arriving at Sidi Ifni. Enjoy its wide beach, stroll through its white and blue streets, and savor fresh fish and seafood. Ideal for surfing away from the crowds, Sidi Ifni offers a sandy stretch of over three kilometers, close to the Western Sahara.
  • Next, we continue to Legzira, famous for its red sandstone arches, although only one arch remains standing after the collapse in 2016 due to erosion.
  • Overnight at the accommodation.
  • After the breakfast, free day to enjoy the tranquility of these beaches and their peaceful villages.

  • After the breakfast, departure towards Agadir, Morocco’s premier seaside destination. With exceptional weather and 300 days of sunshine per year, its 10 km beach makes it ideal for vacations. Agadir, a member of the World’s Most Beautiful Bays Club, boasts a large marina.
  • We then continue to Essaouira, known as the “Pearl of the Atlantic” and a UNESCO World Heritage site. This coastal city, with its charm and authenticity, is the last walled fortification on the Atlantic coast. With houses reminiscent of the “white villages” of Andalusia, Essaouira has been a crossroads of cultures and civilizations, from the Phoenicians to the French.
  • As the sun sets, the journey continues to Essaouira, where accommodation for the night will be arranged.
  • After the breakfast, we will visit Essaouira, also known by its ancient name, Mogador. It is a Moroccan port city on the western Atlantic coast, north of Cape Sim. It is the capital of the eponymous province in the Marrakech – Tensift – Al Hauz region. With a population of around 70,000 inhabitants, its medina or historic center has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2001. Essaouira served as a filming location for the Game of Thrones series due to its impressive walls. It is common to see various water sports practiced on its beaches, such as kitesurfing or surfing, thanks to its excellent weather conditions and constant presence of wind throughout the year.
  • Afterward, we will head back to Marrakech.
  • Overnight at a riad.
  • After the breakfast, depending on the scheduled departure time of your flight, you will have some free time for final visits and shopping.
  • Alternatively, if the flight departure time allows, there is an optional guided tour with a local guide.
  • You will be transferred to the airport for your departure at the agreed time.

You’ll visit Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, before heading to Zagora through the Draa Valley. Here, you’ll enjoy a memorable night in a Berber tent camp, complete with a campfire dinner under the starry sky.

Afterward, you’ll visit Tamegroute, where you can observe traditional pottery making, then travel to Taroudant, a historic walled city often referred to as “little Marrakech.”

Moving towards the Atlantic coast, you’ll visit Sidi Ifni, a charming town with wide beaches and a relaxed vibe. From there, you’ll head to Legzira, known for its dramatic red sandstone arch.

Following some leisure time on the coast, you’ll travel through Agadir, Morocco’s leading beach resort, and continue to Essaouira, a UNESCO-listed coastal town famous for its fortified walls and rich cultural heritage.

Finally, you’ll return to Marrakech, where you can enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping or sightseeing before your departure.
