Itinerary
- In the morning, you will be picked up and head south towards Morocco via Ifrane, stopping in Azrou to visit the cedar forest and see the Atlas monkeys.
- We will continue through the Middle Atlas mountains via the Tizi-N-Talghoumlt pass at an altitude of 2600 meters.
- Lunch will be in Midelt, followed by arrival at the Ziz Valley, Tafilalet Oasis with a large number of date palms.
- In the afternoon, we will arrive in Merzouga “Erg Chebbi“. Arrival in the desert.
- Dinner and accommodation in the riad.
- After breakfast, we will set off on an excursion into the desert, starting with the village of Khamlia, following the tracks used in the “Paris-Dakar Rally” and visiting desert nomads with whom we will have tea.
- We will visit the village of “the blacks,” so-called due to the slave trade that brought people from Sudan. After lunch, we will switch from the 4×4 vehicle to animal traction.
- The dromedaries will take us into the desert dunes to witness an unforgettable sunset.
- Tonight will be special; we will sleep in tents (jaimas) among the dunes, just like the Berbers do. To end the day, we will have another wonderful experience.
- We will enjoy a Berber dinner, music, and a starry sky like you’ve never seen before.
- Dinner and accommodation in an unforgettable jaima.
- We will wake up early to witness the beautiful spectacle of the sunrise over a sea of sand.
- We will ride camels back to the hotel to refresh with a shower and enjoy a hearty breakfast.
- Then, we will head towards Rissani, the first imperial city of Morocco, to visit its legendary market.
- Afterwards, we will continue towards Tazzarine, passing through Alnif.
- We will visit the marvelous Todra Gorges where we will have dinner and spend the night.
- After breakfast, we will head towards the Dades Valley, passing through several interesting places such as the village of Boumalne, the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, the Valley of Roses, and the Skoura palm grove.
- We will then continue to Ouarzazate, where we will visit the impressive Kasbah of Taourirt.
- We will spend the night in a hotel or riad.
- In Ouarzazate, if you are a cinema enthusiast, you can visit the film studios where many famous Hollywood movies have been filmed.
- Afterwards, we will detour to visit the renowned Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (a UNESCO World Heritage Site).
- You will have free time to stroll through the kasbah and climb to its top to enjoy the views.
- Then, we will cross the majestic Atlas Mountains with their beautiful landscapes.
- We will arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon.
- Transfer to your hotel/riad.
- The last day in Marrakech will begin with a delicious breakfast at the hotel.
- After breakfast, we will head to the airport for our return flight, according to the scheduled departure time.

Spring and autumn offer mild temperatures between 15°C and 25°C (59°F to 77°F). Winters are mild to cool, with temperatures averaging between 10°C and 15°C (50°F to 59°F). Like Tánger and Chefchaouen, winter is light and breathable clothing suitable for summer, while a jacket or sweater is recommended for more relaxed periods.
- Marrakech: Experience a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters. In spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November), temperatures are pleasant, ranging from 20°C to 30°C. Summers (June to August) can be hot, with temperatures reaching 35°C to 45°C. Winter (December to February) is mild, with average temperatures of 10°C to 20°C. - High Atlas: has a hot semi-arid climate with hot summers and mild winters. Summers (June to August) can be scorching, with temperatures often exceeding 40°C (104°F). Winters (December to February) are mild, with average daytime temperatures ranging from 15°C to 22°C (59°F to 72°F). It is generally dry throughout the year, but some rainfall can be expected in winter.
- Merzouga: This desert region in the southeast of Morocco experiences a hot desert climate. Summers are sweltering, often exceeding 40°C (104°F) during the day. Spring and autumn are warm and pleasant, ranging from 20°C to 30°C (68°F to 86°F). Winters are mild during the day but can get cold at night, with temperatures dropping to around 5 °C to 10°C (41°F to 50°F).
