Itinerary
- We will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 7:00 am.
- On our route, we will cross The High Atlas Mountains (2260m) with breathtaking views, making several stops for photos and a break.
- Our first visit will be to The Telouet Kasbah. This Kasbah belonged to The Glaoui family. Currently, The Kasbah is in ruins since the last Pasha (governor of the area) fled the country after the departure of The French, as he was allied with them.
- The Kasbah is located on the ancient caravan route of camel caravans carrying salt to Marrakech, where traders brought gold from Ghana, exotic bird feathers from Sudan, and endless legends from distant kingdoms.
- We will then continue along the route through The Ounila Valley, making several stops along the way to admire the mountain landscape, caves, and Berber villages.
- We arrive at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where we will have lunch and a guided tour.
- Ait Ben Haddou is considered a Ksar, a walled group of buildings that contains several Kasbahs. The material used in its construction is adobe, the same color as the surrounding mountains. Its economic significance also comes from the caravans that crossed the desert.
- Currently, it is inhabited by a few residents who live alongside tourists visiting this fortress, a setting for numerous films.
- Departure from Ait Ben Haddou at 4:00 pm to arrive in Marrakech around 7:30 pm, marking the end of our excursion to The Telouet and Ait Ben Haddou Kasbahs.

The first stop will be at the historic Kasbah of Telouet, a fortress that once belonged to the influential Glaoui family. This kasbah was an important point on the caravan route that transported salt, gold, and other exotic goods to Marrakech.
You will then follow the Ounila Valley, with its mountainous landscapes and Berber villages, before arriving at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, you will enjoy a guided tour of this impressive adobe Ksar, famous for its use in films and its history tied to commercial caravans. You will also have time to enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch.
