Itinerary
- We will begin this exciting 7-day tour from Marrakech, picking you up at the airport and transferring you to the hotel or riad.
- Depending on your arrival time, we will have the opportunity to have a first encounter with the charm of Jamaa Lafna Square and its surroundings.
- Overnight stay in a riad.
- Departure from the Dades Gorges over the High Atlas through the Tizi N’tichka pass. Next to the mountains,
- We will see Berber villages and farms.
- We will continue towards Ouarzazate, the capital of cinema in Morocco, where movies like Asterix & Obelix, Babel, Sahara, and Gladiator were filmed.
- Then, through the Road of a Thousand Kasbahswe will take a path where we will have the opportunity to appreciate the tranquility of the mountains inhabited by Berber nomads. We will explore a new sense of everyday life.
- We will arrive at the impressive Dades Gorge and stay at the hotel or riad.
- We will depart in the morning for a scenic drive towards the desert routes, heading towards Tinghir to visit the Todra Gorges (15 km from Tinghir).
- Have lunch at the site. In the afternoon, we will continue our journey to the city of Erfoud, passing through the palm groves of Tinjdad and Touroug.
- We will also visit a workshop where marble fossils are produced.
- Arriving at the camp where we will stay in nomad tents made of camel hair, like those used by desert nomads
- Next, we proceed to the stunning dunes of Merzouga (Erg Chebbi).
- We will switch from vehicles to camels to enjoy a ride and witness the sunset.
- Spend the night at a hotel or riad in the area.
- After breakfast, we will embark on a grand desert route through the dunes, passing by the two oases of Merzouga, the nomad settlement along the desert routes, the village of Khamlia (known as the village of the blacks), the mifiss mines, the desert plates, and encountering the berber nomads of the desert.
- We also visit the Tissardmine Oasis.
- In the afternoon, around 3:00 p.m., we will return to the hostel and prepare for a camel ride to witness the sunset over the dunes.
- We will spend the night in a wild oasis 1.5 hours away by camel trek, in the heart of the desert, under Berber tents.
- Dinner and accommodation will be provided in the tents.
- We will wake up early to witness the beautiful sunrise over the dunes and ride camels back to the hostel.
- After breakfast, we will continue our journey to Ouarzazate, passing through Rissani, where we will briefly stop to visit its traditional Souk, considered the largest in the entire southern region of Morocco.
- We will then proceed towards the magnificent Draa Valley with its millions of palm trees.
- In the afternoon, we will arrive at a hotel in Ouarzazate for dinner and accommodation.
- After breakfast, we will visit the Taourirt Kasbah and then return to Marrakech, crossing the stunning landscapes of the High Atlas again.
- Upon arrival, you will be transferred to hotel.

- High Atlas: has a hot semi-arid climate with hot summers and mild winters. Summers (June to August) can be scorching, with temperatures often exceeding 40°C (104°F). Winters (December to February) are mild, with average daytime temperatures ranging from 15°C to 22°C (59°F to 72°F). It is generally dry throughout the year, but some rainfall can be expected in winter.
- Merzouga: This desert region in the southeast of Morocco experiences a hot desert climate. Summers are sweltering, often exceeding 40°C (104°F) during the day. Spring and autumn are warm and pleasant, ranging from 20°C to 30°C (68°F to 86°F). Winters are mild during the day but can get cold at night, with temperatures dropping to around 5 °C to 10°C (41°F to 50°F).
