- Pick up at Tangier Airport at the arrival time of your flight, with a sign displaying the name of our agency, Unique Morocco Experience, and the start of the journey towards Chefchaouen, a mysterious town founded as a secret place from which to attack the Portuguese settled on the northern coast of the country.
- Entry to the town was completely prohibited to Europeans until the arrival of Spanish troops in 1920. It is located within a natural biosphere reserve.
- Chefchaouen is a holy city perched on the mountainside, with its streets painted white and blue. It is a town of wise, kind, and respectful people, offering visitors beautiful urban landscapes on a slope, lovely samples of local crafts, and a peace and serenity that is hard to find today.
- Arrival in Chefchaouen and free afternoon. Accommodation in a riad in the medina.
- After breakfast, we will depart for Fez from the picturesque blue city.
- On our way, we will stop to admire the historic city of Fez, one of the first political, religious, and cultural capitals of Morocco.
- We will begin our visit at the impressive Golden Gates of the Royal Palace, and then delve into the ancient medina, surrounded by walls, where we will enjoy its spiritual beauty.
- Throughout our tour, we will explore mosques, madrasas, caravanserais, and other religious sites, ending in the famous tanners’ quarter.
- In the evening, we will stay in a charming riad.
- After breakfast, we will depart from Fez towards Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its unique architecture.

The city also offers countless places to wander and enjoy, such as the Majorelle Gardens, the Menara, the Saadian Tombs, walks through the medina or the mellah (the old Jewish quarter), the tour of the city walls, and the modern city (Gueliz) with its Western lifestyle.

We begin in Tangier, exploring its medina and the famous Cape Spartel. From there, we head to Tetouan, known for its well-preserved medina and Andalusian heritage. Continuing on, we journey to Chefchaouen, the “Blue City“, where we’ll enjoy its picturesque streets and vibrant atmosphere.
Next, we travel to Fez, one of Morocco’s earliest capitals, where we explore the ancient medina, mosques, madrasas, and the tannery quarter. We then venture into the desert, passing through the “Switzerland of Morocco“, Ifrane, and the Berber village of Azrou, famous for its cedar forest. Crossing Midelt and the Ziz Valley, we arrive in Erfoud, renowned for its fossil products. In the desert, we trade our vehicle for camels and spend an unforgettable night under the stars.
At sunrise, we visit the market in Rissani, frequented by nomads, and explore a fossilized marble factory in Erfoud. We continue to the impressive Todra Gorge for lunch and to soak in its serene atmosphere, before reaching the Dades Valley for dinner and overnight stay.

Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) bring mild temperatures ranging from 15°C to 25°C (59°F to 77°F). Winters (December to February) are mild to cool, with temperatures averaging between 10°C and 15°C (50°F to 59°F). It’s advisable to bring light and breathable clothing during the summer months and have a light jacket or sweater for cooler evenings and winter visits.
- Marrakech: Experience a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters. In spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November), temperatures are pleasant, ranging from 20°C to 30°C. Summers (June to August) can be hot, with temperatures reaching 35°C to 45°C. Winter (December to February) is mild, with average temperatures of 10°C to 20°C. There is generally plenty of sunshine throughout the year, but it is recommended to bring light clothing, sunscreen, and a hat.
- Merzouga: This desert region in the southeast of Morocco experiences a hot desert climate. Summers are sweltering, often exceeding 40°C (104°F) during the day. Spring and autumn are warm and pleasant, ranging from 20°C to 30°C (68°F to 86°F). Winters are mild during the day but can get cold at night, with temperatures dropping to around 5 °C to 10°C (41°F to 50°F).
